Windows 10: .Net Framework 4.5.2 Developer Pack fails to install

Error 0x80073CF3 when reinstalling Windows 10 preinstalled apps

I'm not sure I understand your suggestion. Are you saying I should reinstall the .NET Framework?

This is a fresh install of Windows 10 which has the .NET Framework 4.6 included. In fact I have all of the following:

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 Multi-Targeting Pack

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 Multi-Targeting Pack

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 Multi-Targeting Pack (ENU)

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 Multi-Targeting Pack

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 Multi-Targeting Pack (ENU)

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 SDK

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 Targeting Pack

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 Targeting Pack (ENU)

Version 4.6.1 is a Release Candidate according to that article and I don't think it's needed to run the applications I'm having trouble with.

Trying to reinstall version 4.6 on a Windows 10 machine results in the following (as expected):

 

Where can i download redist's of the latest .net versions (3.x and 4.x) in both 32 and 64 bit.

I can't believe i'm asking this question, but where can i find to download the following...

(assuming 3.5 and 4.5.2 are the latest, please correct me if wrong.

Of course it does. .NET 4.6 is included in Windows 10, so you can't install 4.5.x on top of it.

The 4.6.1 developer pack says it's for Windows 10, so this should work.

I was trying to install 4.5.2 due to VS2013 showing an issue with a sln and it requires .net 4.5.2 | I will try installing 4.6 and see how that goes out.

I assume you have a need to target 4.5.2 directly. The 4.6.1 developer pack should allow you to do that.

 

This issue is the main cause why i need the same in the first place.
Installing .net 4.6 Didn't solved this though.

 

Did you upgrade to Win10 from an earlier version of Windows?

What is the value for the State key at the following location?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing

 

Strange, I have 4.5.2 installed on my machine for VS 2013, but I did not install the developer pack directly.

I did install VS 2015 as well, as well VS2013 Update 5. One of those two gave me the 4.5.2 targeting options in VS 2013.

I'd suggest first making sure you have Update 5 installed. If that doesn't add 4.5.2, then install the Community Version of VS 2015 (unless you have access to another edition, then use that).
