Windows 10: .NET framework 4.8 problems

Hi guys, My problem is:


I´ve tried to install some programs paint.net and aTube Catcher and both of them require .NET framework 4.8, the thing is that when i try to install it, I receive this message:





Then I watched some videos about my problem and the solution was to do the next:




inside control panel, activate the selected windows characteristics



but when I hit "accept" and then open the same dialog box, the options I selected before are gone and the boxes are empty. Like this:





So then I checked what versions of NET framework I had on my pc and turns out that:





And my windows 10 is updated 03/33/2021 and I did some research and turns out NET framework is supposed to come already installed in Win10.


Any solutions to my problem? pls help

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

Try the following steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
• Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
• Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer
• Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer.

the same issue, check this thread:
.NET Framework 4 & 4.5 won't install because it is already installed; Windows 10 : December.

no, problem is still actual for me.

have MSI Notebook, problem is

System.MissingFieldException: Field not found: 'WPFOSD.GraphicsSwitchWnd.VGAType'.

at MSI.SCM.SCMII.WMIEventMath(Int32 WMIEvent), after i make something by S-BAR buttons like adding volume or something like that.
