Windows 10: .NET Framework v4.0.3019

Hello, there are a few apps on my pc that wont run saying "This application requires on of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v4.0.30319". I have used repair tool even trying to download the 4.81 version of .NET. I have no clue on what else I'm supposed to do. I tried inserting a Screen Shot but it wont upload. it is just 2 app so far with this issue Discord and The oculus app. It wont Update discord or the oculus app so I'm assuming its something with the windows update. I troubleshooting it and it shows that there was no issues. I also done SFC /SCANNOW in CMD and shows all my fil

.Net Framework v4 client

Is it ok to uninstall .Net Framework v4 client from windows 10? If so then how would I go about doing this. There is no entry in Programs and Features to uninstall this. There are registry entries for both v4 and v4.0 client. Is there an automated way to
do this?

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

Try the following steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
• Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
• Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer
• Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer.
