    .NET MAUI Not Connecting Provisioning Profiles Correctly


    To all:I've been trying to port an app I wrote last summer in Xamarin Forms over to the latest version of .NET MAUI. I had few issues but not none with the Android version, but - as usual - iOS is so arcane that either Microsoft's engineers are missing something, or the process really is still just that bad. And I have 17.12.3, the latest update, too.TLDR: Nab this repository: https://github.com/ctmobiledev/DummyDec3-MAUI-iOS Try it, and see if you get the same thing. On the "Archive Details" dialog, under "Provisioning Profile", I only get the error message "No matching profiles f

    Cannot debug my MAUI app using hot restart

    I have a .Net MAUI app that I want to test and debug if needed on my iPhone without Mac. I found instructions on how this can be done here:

    I don't understand what username and password it is talking about. I am signed in on the Visual Studio. Please advise.

    Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

    Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

    I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

    Might be helpful to list what i've done .NET MAUI Not Connecting Provisioning Profiles Correctly :) I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

    I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.
