    .NET Preview KB5022404


    This update installed on my laptop in a recent update cycle. After install, my laptop wouldn't go into sleep mode, either by time or through the sleep option. I deinstalled the update and the laptop went back to going to sleep as it had. I note this was a preview build which I wouldn't normally install and am not signed up for. How do I prevent download and install of preview builds going forward?I'm on Windows 11 Pro and have looked at the group policies but can't find a policy in WIndows Update that blocks preview builds being offered.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    • Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
    • Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer
    • Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer.
