Windows 10: .Net Runtime error with Refreshrateservice.exe

Hi,


It's the third time I try to write this since my PC can't stop crashing.

I have a .Net Runtime Error in the logs every 15-30 minutes sometimes every 5 minutes. This error always come with an app error of the Refreshrateservice.exe. And it causes my computer to crash with a blue screen.


I have an Asus Rog Strix G17 G712LW with an intel core i7 10th gen and an RTX2070.


Before a crash, my keyboard doesn't work and then the screen freezes, becomes black and I get the bluescreen error for a second before my PC restarts.


The Asus support can't help me and I then post my problem here in desperate search of a solution since I can't work without my computer.

I already tried a system recovery but it didn't help.


I rush this message in fear of my computer crashing again while I write.

Hello. I've been trying to update my Nvidia drivers and I haven't had this problem until now (been using Windows 10 for about a month or two with many past driver updates not giving me any problems) and I keep getting this error. One solution was to do a registry cleaner, and I did that, but still got the error. Help? I don't really understand now.

Here's the full error:

Also, here's the list of my PC build, if that makes a difference - AMD Athlon X4 860K, EVGA GeForce GTX 960, NZXT Source 210 (Black) - System Build - PCPartPicker

Has anyone met this issue?

It came sometimes, but I don't know why it happens.
