Windows 10: Netflix 5.1 Center not working

Hey there,


since I upgraded to Windows 10 from Win7 my 5.1 speakers Logitech Z906 aren't working properly anymore, when I put on 5.1 sound on Netflix I can't hear any voices, just the "normal" sounds. I already tried a bunch of different audio drivers realtek, nvidia, normal win10 drivers, deinstalled and installed them again, "repaired" Windows 10 etc.


All the speakers are working fine though with other devices.


Can't find any more solutions on the web, so I hope someone can help me out.

Netflix

There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Netflix app. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to an issue with the application itself.

I suggest that you reset your Netflix application by following the steps provided below:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.

If the issue persists, you can consider uninstalling and reinstalling the device. To uninstall, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Uninstall.

Netflix and Windows 10 .

There's a possibility that the firewall or antivirus software on your computer is blocking the access to Netflix, we suggest disabling it first before connecting to Netflix. Follow these steps:

• Close the Netflix app.
• Turn off the firewall and antivirus software on your computer.
• Now, launch the Netflix app.
• Once it's connected to Netflix, turn back on the firewall and antivirus software on your computer.
• You should be able to access Netflix now.

Netflix on laptop

Please provide answer for these questions to assist you better.

1. Do you get any error message?

2. Are you using Netflix app or on browser?

3. Which browser are you using e.g. Microsoft EDGE, Internet Explorer etc.?

I suggest you to follow the Methods below and check if that helps

if you are using Netflix app run app troubleshooter

Method 1: Run the Windows App Troubleshooter.

I would suggest you to run the inbuilt windows app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.

5. Click on Windows Store app
to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions

Method 2:

I suggest you to try updating the Display Adapter drivers check if it works for you.

Follow the steps to update the Display driver:

1. Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.

2. Expand ‘Display Adapters’.

3. Right-click on the Display Adapter listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.

4. Select the option to automatically search for the updated driver software.

5. Restart the computer after its updated and verify.
