Windows 10: Netflix and Prime video not working on Edge.

I'm using the latest version of Chromium Edge (Version 84.0.522.40) and Netflix and Prime video players do not work.

Netflix gives me the error D7361-1253. Prime video just says there was a problem.

Both work when using FireFox.

I searched and the only fix I found was disabling hardware acceleration but obviously I don't want to keep doing this. I also tried updating my graphics drivers which didn't help.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

After latest update Netflix and amazon prime video will not work.

 

Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are not working on Windows Edge

Every time when I watch Netflix or Amazon Prime on Windows Edge, I got a full screen snowflake effect like when the TV lose the signal. I have tried to toggle the option 'using Adobe Flash Player' in Edge but it does not make any better.

System: Windows 10 Pro

Monitor: 21:9 ratio ( I suspect this may be the issue)

This issue might be related to cache and cookies of Microsoft Edge browser.

I suggest you try clearing cache and cookies of Edge Browser and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

  Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
  
• 
  Select Settings and click on
  Choose what to clear.
  
• 
  Check the boxes Browsing history,
  Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and
  files and click on Clear.
