Windows 10: Netflix Stuttering Bug on Build 2004

Hi, I just wanted to report that after updating to Build 2004, the Netflix app has an issue where whenever the subtitles appear, the video stutters.

This seems to have occurred in the past, as discussed here and here.

I hope this can reach someone to have it promptly fixed.

Netflix stuttering bug on Windows 10 1903 - full updated

I already wrote in the first post that I used every possible way !!

1. Netflix App and Microsoft Edge have the problem that I report (stuttering)
2. Microsoft Edge (Chromium) has not this problem but the subtitles stay on screen all the time
3. Google Chrome/Opera/Mozilla have no issues but only use 720p resolution and 2.0 channels audio...

There could be a number of factors as to why you are having issues launching the Netflix app. This could be caused by a software conflict or due to an issue with the application itself.

I suggest that you reset your Netflix application by following the steps provided below:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.

If the issue persists, you can consider uninstalling and reinstalling the device. To uninstall, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.
  
• Click the Netflix app from the list and then choose Uninstall.

Netflix stuttering bug on Windows 10 1903 - full updated

Hi , I have a problem with netflix on Microsoft Edge and Netflix App .

On every show/movie(fullscreen) there are freeze frames and micro-stuttering when the subtitles appear on screen.

Chrome/Opera/Mozilla have no problem but these browsers only use 720p resolution

There are lots of people with this issue so its not only me ..

I use Nvidia gpu but I have the same problem with the amd gpu too...

Rollback to 1809 fix the issue but then I installed 1903 again and micro-stuttering started .. I also tried clean install of 1903 but nothing changed

Microsoft must fix this , it is very annoying

are you aware of this?
