Windows 10: NetFx3 installation error 0x800f0922

Ive been struggling with .NET framework 3.5 installation for a few weeks now. There is a couple of programs that seems to need it, and I just cant install the framework.

Ive tried enabling it from the programs and features menu. It seems to copy the files to %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5 directory, but after that it says:
Windows couldnt complete the request changes. Windows requires a reboot to return the system to its original state.

Ive tried this also:
DISM /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:\sources\sxs

Thats my USB stick that I used to install the win10 pro. I have also tried the dism /scanhealth and repairhealth etc commands. Also tried that lodctr /r but it didnt help and tried also the ccleaner.

I can post some CBS logs to pastebin in a while if someone wants to take a look..

.Net Framework 3.5 can't enable Please Help

Ok so I tried to do it manually

I copied the microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab file over to an install folder and ran

Dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /source:C:\install /LimitAccess

I get the message "The operation is complete but NetFx3 feature was not enabled."

I go to enable it in windows features and the same thing installs with no errors and say restart and so I do and then it still shows unchecked.

 

Windows 10 .NET 3.5 Framework Fails to Install

Hello,

I have seen this behavior across several Windows 10 systems. All systems are attached to a Domain. These users need .NET 3.5 Framework for other programs however it is not installed.

When I try to install from Add/Remove Windows Features I get an error: "Windows couldn't complete the requested changes." Error Code:0x00F0922

When I try to install from source install media using "DISM /online /add-package /packagepath:X:\....\microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab" the utility runs for approximately 3-5 minutes, the loading bar fills to 100%, and then I receive an error:
"An error occurred - Microsoft-Windows-NetFx3-OnDemand-Package Error: 0x800f0922". Error Log below.

Please note that I have seen other forums and threads with this exact same issue since 2014 regarding a Windows 8 thread. With NO
solution. If someone at Microsoft reads this, please help us. The only workaround to this that has been found is to completely re-image a system and install the NET 3.5 Framework before doing anything else. There has to be a way to
fix this.
