Windows 10: Netlog on services stopped although I chose "automatic"

Discus and support Netlog on services stopped although I chose "automatic" in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Hi, I have the problem in re-connecting my laptop to network drives everytime I start up my laptop, all previously mapped drives were disconnected...     Netlog on services stopped although I chose "automatic"


    Hi,


    I have the problem in re-connecting my laptop to network drives everytime I start up my laptop, all previously mapped drives were disconnected with red crosses and even I click the drives on file explorer, it did not work. And I checked services.msc for Netlog on service which I already chose automatic but the service has been stopped and cannot be started again even I force it to start. I got the following error message.


    Appreciate expert advice how to fix this.

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

    A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    Turn off windows defender and alerts and stop service

    Hi Clifford,



    Follow these steps to start Windows Defender Service:

    • Open Run command box by pressing Windows Key + R.
    • Double-click the Windows Defender service, and then in the Startup type box, click
      Automatic.
    • Click OK.


    If it is already set to Automatic, then stop the service and
    start again.

    Let us know the results.
