    Netplwiz Missing Suddenly; Cannot Remove Sign-In Password


    Hello,Suddenly, my Windows 10 system is requiring a password on startup, Previously I did not enter a password and want to keep it this way.When I follow the standard instructions to remove the password requirement on startup, which tell one to use the setting/program 'Netplwiz' I find that it is no longer on my computer, but used to be. I used 'netplwzi' previously to remove the password requirement, which seems to turn it itself back on sometimes.Why is 'Netplwiz' missing and how can I remove the password requirement on sign-in?

    How do I completely remove the sign in password. Netplwiz and control userpasswords2 do not work. None of the remedies on the forum works.

    Remove sign in password, do not suggest netplwiz or userpasswords2, they do not work.

    Remove need for password on startup - Netplwiz changed?

    If you have not set a password for your account you don't need to use netplwiz, you will be signed in without being prompted for a password.

    unable to remove windows logon password


    i misunderstood step 'D' I thought I was choosing another windows password, completely missed the 'auto sign in' title
    will try again....
    but in windows 7 in control panel user accounts there was an option to,remove password.....thanks for your help...fingers crossed
