Windows 10: Network adapter driver not showing.

While trying to activate my SIM card on my pc, I discovered that I didn't have network adapter driver for the SIM card installed which I thought was unusual because my pc had a slot for SIM cards. After that, I downloaded the hs3110/hs3114 Mobile Broadband Driver from the site, which had a setup file sp78749.exe which after I setup created a folder. Now at this point, I don't know if the driver had been installed after the setup, or I still had to setup another file in the folder 'HPInstaller'. Anyways, even after setting up the HPInstaller app, I found out that the driver isn't still showing.

Method 1: Network troubleshooting

    • Click on “Network and Internet”
    • Click on “Network Adapter” and run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Download and install the latest firmware updates for the Network adapter

Follow these steps to un-install the drivers:

• On the search bar type “ Device Manager”
• On the left pane locate “Network Adapter” and expand by clicking on it
• Right on the “ Network driver” option and click “Uninstall’
• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Install a driver for your network adapter

Go to the list of network adapters in the control panel, turn of the lan and turn it on again. See if that helps.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Right click on Windows icon on the taskbar.
• Select Control panel.
• Click on network and sharing center.
• At the left top corner click on Change adapter settings.
• There you will be able to see the Driver name of the network Adapter next to the Icon.
  
• Then you can go to device manager and check for that network adapter and you can uninstall the driver.
