    Issues with network adapters

    Hi Alfonso,

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If the issue persists, kindly try the troubleshooting steps on the following link:

Thank you very much for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm more than happy to assist you.

It sounds like you're experiencing persistent issues with both your Intel® UHD Graphics Display Adapter and Wireless Network Adapter. Here are some steps you can take to address these issues:

Steps to Resolve Graphics Driver Issues

    1. Uninstall Current Graphics Driver:
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Display adapters.
      • Right-click on the Intel UHD Graphics driver and select Uninstall device. Ensure you check the option to delete the driver software for this device.
      • Restart your computer.
    2. Install Latest Graphics Driver:
      • Visit the Intel Download Center and download the latest driver for Intel UHD Graphics 620.
      • Before installing, create a system restore point to revert back if needed.
      • Install the downloaded driver and restart your computer.
    3. Switch to Microsoft Basic Display Adapter:
      • If the issue persists, switch to the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter to see if the problem is with the Intel driver.
      • In Device Manager, right-click on the Intel UHD Graphics driver and select Update driver.
      • Choose Browse my computer for drivers and then Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
      • Select Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and restart your computer.

Steps to Resolve Wireless Network Adapter Issues

    1. Uninstall Current Network Driver:
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Network adapters.
      • Right-click on the wireless network adapter and select Uninstall device. Ensure you check the option to delete the driver software for this device.
      • Restart your computer.
    2. Install Latest Network Driver:
      • Visit the manufacturer's website for your Exo notebook and download the latest network driver.
      • Install the downloaded driver and restart your computer.
    3. Network Reset:
      • Go to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
      • Click the Reset now button and restart your computer.

    Clear CMOS

If the above steps do not resolve the issues, you may need to clear the CMOS to reset the BIOS settings:

    1. Disconnect Power:
      • Disconnect the system's power from the wall.
      • Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to discharge residual power.
    2. Remove CMOS Battery:
      • Open the laptop and locate the CMOS battery (refer to your laptop's manual for the exact location).
      • Remove the CMOS battery and leave it out for at least 10 minutes (up to 4 hours for a full reset).
    3. Reassemble and Restart:
      • Reinsert the CMOS battery.
      • Reconnect the power and restart your computer.

    Additional Tips

    • BIOS Update: Ensure your BIOS is up to date. Visit the Exo notebook support page for the latest BIOS update.
    • Compatibility Mode: If you encounter issues with driver installation, try installing the drivers in compatibility mode for Windows 10 or 8.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issues with your Intel UHD Graphics Display Adapter and Wireless Network Adapter on your Exo notebook.
