Windows 10: Network adapter missing on device manager after installing windows 10

Hello,I have an ASUS T100HA transformer book and I have just reinstalled it using a USB-key with Windows 10. I have installed Windows 10 on the USB using Media Creation tool.Installation is completed but the network adapter is missing at all on device manager which results that I cant connect to the Wifi. I did the installation once again in case something went wrong but still the same issue.When running the Troubleshooting for the network card I get the message to install a driver for the network card and that it was not possible to identify a correctly installed network adapter.I have downlo

Wireless adapter not found in Device Manager

I ran the Lenovo Solution Center. Network Adapter was not listed in the hardware scanned. Not sure if there is a separate listing for that normally or not.

Ever since I ran a power cycle the adapter has not appeared in the Device Manager.

Does anyone believe removing the adapter and putting it back would solve the issue? I would rather not open my computer if there is little chance of it solving the issue. I am a complete novice doing this.

Not sure if this is relevant but in my Network Adapter in Device Manager there was "Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter". It has since disappeared.

All I am trying to do at this point is to install / enable the "Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter" driver which is missing from the list of my
Windows 10 laptop DEVICE MANAGER hidden network adapters.

My thinking is that there is something about the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 that just doesn't support virtual networks.

I have spent a year + too much $$$ on this issue. No Internet response works !!!

• What is the exact issue you are facing with Microsoft hosted network virtual adapter on your device?
• Were you able to see the driver in Device Manager?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted drivers on your device. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Network Adapter troubleshooter

Network Adapter troubleshooter find and fix the problems with wireless and other Network Adapter.

1. Click on
Start; in the start search type Troubleshooter and hit
Enter.

2. In the left pane, click on View all.

3. Click on
Network Adapter Troubleshooter.

4. Select
Advance and click on Run as Administrator.

5. Click
Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 2: If you are able to find the drivers in Device Manager check for the device status.

Follow:

• Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.
• Expand Network Adapter, right click on the driver.
• Click on Properties and check the device status.

Step 3: I suggest you to update the network adapter driver from device manager.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + x key on your keyboard.
• Select Device manager.
• Expand Network adapters. Right-click on the device and click
  Update Driver Software.
• Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
