Windows 10: Network Adapter not holding onto Setting Changes

Discus and support Network Adapter not holding onto Setting Changes in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; My NAT isn't holding onto my local user settings after restarts.     Network Adapter not holding onto Setting Changes


    My NAT isn't holding onto my local user settings after restarts. I connected to a VPN shutdown the computer restarted and was still connected to the same VPN. Windows didn't show it as connected to the VPN or that the adapter for the VPN was enabled. I Changed my DNS server, restarted the computer and the DNS settings remained the pointed at the old DNS server. I used a user account to change these settings with an admin login.
