Windows 10: Network adapter not working after Windows 1903 update

My PC updated today with the latest 1903 update, when it restarted I cannot connect to the internet and my network adapter (Realtek) is not showing as an option in Network Connections .

I have gone to the view hardware where it is showing the yellow error symbol and tried to update the driver but it says the latest driver is installed.

It shows an error code 10 "This device cannot start", everything was fine before the update but don't really want to uninstall if I can get the adapter working again.

Anybody come across this before and solved it?

You may try these steps and check the status:

  Run the Network Troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.

  You may try a different network adapter/connection type if possible.

  Further you may also check for Windows Updates with a wired net connection and check for updated drivers for the network adapter.
  

You will be able to solve some problems by running a troubleshooter that will automatically fix some common issues with Windows Update.

Open the Network troubleshooter by following these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on
  View All.
  

Click on “Network Adapter” troubleshooter to fix problems with
Network Adapter. Follow the on-screen directions to run this troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.

• Right on the “ Network driver” option and click “Uninstall’
• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Wireless Adapter not working

Step 1: Update network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Update option.
• Restart the computer and check if the changes are effective.

Step 2: If the issue persist, I suggest you to uninstall the network adapter driver from the device manager by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and click on
  Device Manager from the options.
• Expand the Network adapters from the options.
• Right click on the wireless network card and select Uninstall.
• Restart the computer for automatic installation of network adapters and check if the changes are effective.
