  1. Network adapter properties revert on reboot and other times

I have a new laptop with Windows 11 and 5G WWAN module which didn't seem to be working at first. After some troubleshooting I discovered that IPv6 is disabled by default in the network adapter properties old control panel > network and internet > network connections > right click WWAN adapter > properties, and turning it on allows me to use mobile data. However I now have a new problem: the adapter properties are reverting to the default IPv6 off anytime the laptop is rebooted as well as at other random times. When this happens I have to manually go back in and change the setti

  2. 'Network Address' property not displaying for wireless adapter

If you go to the "Device Manager" control panel window, and open the 'Network Adapters' drop down, there is a list of different Network Adapters. My goal was to change the MAC address on my wireless adapter that I use to connect to the wifi. You can do
this by displaying the properties of a network adapter in the list. When I open up the 'advanced' tab in the properties window, only 4 properties show up, none of which allow me to change my mac address, however I am able to change my mac address of the computer
    itself, but this does nothing.

  4. Network adapter properties revert on reboot and other times

How to restore/revert back to original Mac address of my network adapter on windows?

For any reason, I changed my MAC address from network adapter properties>config>Advanced>Network Address. and set a value. It changed immediately after auto disconnecting and reconnecting.

After solving my problem, I've changed it back to 'Not Present' radio button selected. But the MAC address hasn't been reverted.

    I,

    • Restarted my PC. Nothing.
    • Unplugged the network cable, restarted the PC. Replugged. Nothing
    • Unplugged the network cable, changed my MAC again, then selected 'Not present' again, disabled-enabled network adapter, plugged the cable. No hope.

Now I'm not seeing any way to change it back except entering original MAC address manually. Can you suggest me something?
