  1. Network box grayed out can't choose any networks. WORSE THAN YOU THINK!

So yesterday I noticed my network box was sort of grayed out and I could only see the settings option. I ran "netcfg -d" 3 times, and dism scan to no avail. I checked my network adapter and it said that the hardware was unplugged or something "(Code 45)" I uninstalled, checked for hardware changes then rebooted... nothing. So I literally just took apart my HP Pavilion 23 AIO pc and checked the wireless card and it looks fine? It was plugged in I'm pretty sure. I just really don't know what to do at this point I'm getting absolutely no help whatsoever. I'm using an ethernet cable which is a temporary solution. Help please!

  2. Connected to a guest network instead of my home network

    Hello Scott,

Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft Community and welcome to the Windows 10 Family.

From the description provided, I understand that you want to switch from a Guest Network to Home Network.

As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to check whether the network discovery is turned to on.

    Follow the below steps.

Step 1: Type network in the search box and choose
Network and Sharing Center in the list to open it.

Step 2: Select Change advanced sharing settings to move on.

Step 3: Choose Turn on network discovery or
    Turn off network discovery
in the settings, and tap Save changes.

Hope the above information is helpful. If you need further assistance, we would be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

    Can't print using Network

here are the steps that I followed:

Vodafone wireless modem supports USB printers. After you connect a USB printer to your modem through the USB port, you can access the printer from the Internet or internal network.

    • Connect the USB cable of the printer to the USB port on the modem
    • Add a Network Printer.
    For Windows 7

    1. Choose Start > Devices and Printers
    2. Choose Add a printer
    3. Choose Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer
    4. Click The printer that I want isn't listed
    5. Choose Select a shared printer by name
    6. Enter the printer address http://192.168.0.1:631/printers/myprinter in the text box. myprinter is the customized name of the printer to add.
    7. Click Next.
    8. Select the model of the printer you want or click Have Disk to manually install the printer drive.
    9. Click OK.
