Windows 10: Network conection

I can go online and access websites, but windows 10 does not recognize that i am connected (ethernet cabel), and it tells me to connect to a network. I tried to troubleshoot the problem but an error message popped up saying "scripted diagnostic native host has stopped working."

• Are you able to see the router's name in the wireless networks list?
• Are you able to connect to the router but unable to connect to the Internet?
• Do you receive any error message when connecting to the router? If yes, what is the exact error message that you receive?

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands,
Temporarily turn off firewalls and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

Nokia x isnt conecting to pc

my computer is not conecting to my nokia x through the usb port nor its is listed in device manager,any suggestions for what should i do to solve it ?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
