  1. Network Connection Event Logs

Windows 10 Pro desktop with ethernet cable to router, no wi-fi. This should be simple, but after extensive search, I have been unable to find an answer. I would like to open an event log, then disconnect/reconnect my ethernet cable (causing a disconnection/reconnection to the internet) and have this show up in the log (after a refresh). I am familiar with Windows 10 Event Viewer and have experimented with many different logs to no avail. I can't find anyone else who has asked this question and gotten a definitive answer.

    :)

  2. Internet connectivity- event log

    Hi Sony,

To further assist you, we'd like to know some information:

    • Are you using a wired or wireless connection?
    • Did you make any changes to your computer?
    • Which version of Windows are you using?

Please follow these steps to run the Network troubleshooter:

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Network troubleshooter, and then select
Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If that doesn’t fix your connection problem, try the troubleshooting steps in this

  3. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.
