Windows 10: Network Connection Issue - Chrome Browsing Works, But Windows Shows No Network Connection

Hello. I posted about this issue before, but it seems I lost contact with the person who was assisting me, so I'm writing a new message. I’m experiencing significant inconvenience—could someone please help?In my previous post, I tried several methods, including connecting via Ethernet cable and using my phone's hotspot. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

Losing network connection

Hi

Im running windows 8 Pro 64 bit using the on board network adapter on my Asus P5KC.

Right the problem, basically i loose my network connection, in the task bar i get a yellow triangle stating no internet connection an loose access to any devices connected to my network through wireless. Ive found that i can fix the problem every time by disabling the network adapter through control panel then re-enabling it. However this is not a permanent fix.
As you can imagine this is quite an irritating issue. Ive never had to diagnose any network issues before so what tests can i perform to decide if its hardware related or something within windows giving me issues? I have no problem buying a separate network adapter there cheap and i have space available but i want to be sure that the issue can't be fixed within windows first.
