    Network connectivity problems after installing PuleSecure


    Hi there,

    Everything was working fine until I installed PulseSecure. Upon installation, internet stopped working. Tried rebooting and uninstalling PulseSecure, but could not fix.

    Resetting my router enables me to access the internet, however, upon changing any of the wireless network settings, like wireless broadcast name, security method, password, etc, the wired and wireless internet goes off. I have tried doing the same from Linux Mint with success, but when I boot back into Windows (on the dual boot machine), wired and wireless stops working again.

    I have tried the following methods to fix the problem without any success.
    1. Uninstalled PulseSecure
    2. Resetting router (wired and wireless works until wireless settings are changed)
    3. netsh winsock reset
    4. Deleting the Network Adapter from Device Manager
    5. Rebooting

    Any help appreciated, thank you in advance *Smile

    The problem is windows tries to install drivers as soon as you start it. The only solution is reinstalling the windows but this time do not connect to any network (wifi or lan) and after you logged in open services and disable and stop windows update and
    now connect to a network download driver pack solution software and install drivers through that, after installing you can enable windows update if you dint want any annoying windows updates, set your network as a mattered connection

    I also had problems connecting to WPA2 enterprise networks, untill a few days ago. I received a few updates for Nokia apps including Network+ After installing these updates I am now able to connect to WPA2 Enterprise networks.

    Hi Ednan

    Any chance you have a working restore point from before your installation of PulseSecure? Even better a system image?

    I might also recommend a complete Network reset. Can be found in settings, Network and Internet, first panel, right hand side at bottom.
