  1. Network drive cannot be 'seen' by application

In Windows 10, File Explorer correctly 'sees' my dropbox folder mapped to my 'Y:' drive.

But, when I run an application (in this case Quickbooks Pro Desktop 2018), I'm not able to 'see' this same drive -- it doesn't exist. I can't open the files I need on that mapped drive (YNetwork drive cannot be 'seen' by application :) because I can't see it within the application.

Tried running app as administrator. No difference.

I know the app CAN see these drives, because they USED to be there. This app (Quickbooks) worked off files from this drive for more than a year. Then, some update or security upgrade or tweak or option was selected, and now those drives aren't visible. What has happened?

I'm trying to fix this for a non-techy co-worker who has no idea what he did to cause this.

    Please help!!

Running Win10 in Parallels on a Mac. Dropbox folder works fine on Mac & PC side, and is correctly mapped to the "Y:" drive, but inside the app, it can't be seen.

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

  3. Help needed with simple wired network

Step one- Connect all PC's to router, and then the router to the modem. PC's go to router by the ports labeled "1-4" on the back of the router. WAN port goes to router. Power up all network equipment, and then systems.
Step two- Power on the computer connected to port one. Go into router settings at 192.168.0.1 and configure internet, dyndns, firewall, etc.
Step three- Go to "network set up wizard" in windows. (Network places- network set up wizard). The rest is self explanatory.
Step four- right click on each drive and printer you want to share, and then configure sharing preferences. Should be easy enough.
Step five- right click my computer, and the select "map network drive". Using the network address for each piece of hardware you shared, assign network drive letters.

Congratulations, you have a fully operational network. Happy Gaming! *Toast :toast:
