Windows 10: Network hardware status not present/disconnected

My laptop has already been finnicky, sometimes the screen will go black and turns off if I grab it from underneath or even touch it, in this case. This time, it showed a few glitches on the black screen, turned off, then started to restart itself. Once it successfully restarted itself, which took longer than usual, my laptop was not able to connect to wifi. All of the hardware under network and internet now says that its status is not present, and the connectivity is disconnected. I reset my network and tried restarting, however none of this solved the issue. I purchased this laptop in June, a

Can't remove disconnected (ghost) network device

Thanks for the suggestion, but it can't remove the NIC:




It's the only Intel I219-V that shows up in the device list of the DeviceCleaner program (it shows only non-present devices as I understand). Otherwise, the tool works - I found a ghost replica of the integrated GPU (Intel HD 530) and could remove it. Only the NIC gives this error message on removal, which is probably the reason I can't remove it the normal way through the device manager.

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

• Type in search bar as control panel.
• Then select troubleshooting.
• Click on hardware and sound option.
• Then click on “hardware and devices “and follow the on screen instructions.

Method 2: I suggest you to uninstall the network drivers as below steps.

• Press Windows+X and select “Device manager”.
• Then expand the Network adapters.
• Right click on the driver and uninstall it.

And then go to the manufacturers website download the network drivers, install it and check if the issue persists.

I would suggest you to try the steps provided in article:
Fix network connection issues in Windows. Also check if the proxy settings are
disabled. To check the proxy settings:

1. Open Windows Settings (Windows key + I)
   
2. Then click on Network & Internet > Proxy.
   
3. Toggle the option Automatically detect settings to ON.
   
4. Toggle the option Use a proxy server to OFF.
