    Network icon doesn't show as connected while internet is working fine.


    I had problem that every time I connected my phone in tethering mode new connection was created every time.I followed first reply in this thread which solved my issue but now my internet icon shows as not connected to internet.It's not really an issue but annoying.Windows build: 19044.2130.On screenshot below it visible that I am using internet to describe my issue but internet icon shows that device not connected to network.

    Network connection icon problem

    Hi all,
    Few days ago (since I have switched to Nvidia - I don't know is there any connection between them or not) I have a problem with the network connection icon. After the OS loads in, the icon is still loading about for a minute. When I open Chrome the internet connection is perfect, only the icon shows it's loading. It wouldn't be such a problem, but certain programs (for example GPU-Z) doesn't open until the icon stops loading.
    What could be the problem, and how can I solve this? I have already uninstalled / reinstalled the network driver. Nothing has changed.

    Ethernet shows red X and does not appear in settings, but still works


    Not sure why this is happening. I have working ethernet and am connected, it works fine. But the taskbar icon shows a red X over it, and the tooltip says "Not Connected - No connections are available". Looking in "Network & Internet", ethernet is not even listed there. And before anyone suggests wireless interference .. this PC does not have a wireless card or integrated wireless.
