    With no changes to my computer, the network icon has vanished from the notification area. ...When in settings, notification/quick actions, I am unable to turn on the Network Icon (the option is greyed out)?

    Hey I cant access my network options, it only gives me the option to use airplane mode for my windows 10 laptop. I'm currently using an ethernet

    Network Icon

    Use this tutorial.
    It was written for Win 7 and Win 8, but it is applicable to Win 10.
    I, personally, had used it to restore my missing Volume and Network icons.

    Use Option Two, step #5, click the Download button > then continue to step #11 to 15.
    Make sure you reboot to complete the process.
