Windows 10: Network Infrastructure magically appears and disappears

4 PCs, 3 with Windows 10 Home 64 Ver 20H2 and 1 PC (which wasn't turned on when I writing this question) with Windows Pro ver 20H2 (all with latest updates installed)

On the Network Explorer page the Network Infrastructure (along with my Router, a TP-Link Archer AX6000) magically appears and disappears for no obvious reason. Here is a screenshot of when it is missing:





I'd like to post a screenshot when it's there but it doesn't stick around long enough to get a shot of it. However I did find a screenshot in another thread that does show that section.

So is this another unexplained Windows 10 networking glitch or is there a fix for it?
I searched the world wide wait and the forums here and if there is an answer I must not be asking the question correctly so as to find that answer.

Router in Network Infrastructure right click menu gone after KB4586781

After installing KB4586781, the right click menu on my router disappeared in the Network Infrastructure group. Other items listed in the network group still work correctly with the right click menu. I did an uninstall of KB4586781 and the right click menu of my router returned to normal. I really don't want to uninstall a windows update because of a minor issue like a right click menu. I'm hoping there's a registry trick that might bring the right click menu back.

(Nearly) All of my icons disappeared like magic


I just opened my laptop this morning and this happened. Any suggestions are welcome. I tried deleting the IconCache.db and restart my computer, I tried restoring, I tried to download the bat file and restarting my computer, but it does not work.
