Windows 10: Network & Internet not working

My HP Notebook with Windows 10 will not give me the option to connect to the internet. If I open status on Network & Internet in Settings, it just closes Settings, and I have no idea why. I've tried multiple methods, but none of them work. I would really like to know why this is happening and how to fix it, if it's fixable.The HP Notebook Model is 14t-am000.

  Network and Internet.

    Internet Connections.
    
  • 
    Network Adapter.
    
  • 
    Incoming Connections.
    

If the issue persists, we suggest that you try to
renew
your
IP address. To do this, follow these steps:

  Open
  Command Prompt
  as
  Administrator.
  
• 
  Type the following command:
  
  • 
    Ipconfig/release
    and hit
    Enter.
    
  • 
    Ipconfig/renew
    and hit
    Enter.
    
  • 
    Exit.

• Is the router detected under Device Manager?
  
• Does the issue happen on a specific device or with all of your devices?
  
• Have you tried power cycling your device?

Meanwhile, to help resolve your concern, we suggest that you run the Network and Internet troubleshooter. To do this, follow these steps:

• On the Start menu, type Troubleshooting.
  
• Choose Network and Internet troubleshooter.
  
• Run the Internet Connections and Network Adapter troubleshooter.

Domain network ethernet not working but wifi does?
