Windows 10: Network media is not present, how to fix it?

i just bought a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15iah7 type 82s9, the first using i cannot initiate the windows it shows me the message "network media is not present, retry media connection for 1 time" from my research i need to change the priority boot but i dont know how.

What is the exact error message you get when you to try play files on Windows Media Player?

I suggest you to run both Windows Media Player Library and Settings troubleshooter and check.

Step 1: If your computer is having problems playing video or audio files in Windows Media Player, try using the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter to fix the problem. The troubleshooter checks the configuration and network settings
for Windows Media Player to make sure that you can play content you've downloaded and saved to your computer, or content streaming over a network or the Internet.

Steps to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter are as follows:

• Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
• In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click
  Troubleshooting.
• Click View all, and then click Windows Media Player Settings
  and follow the instructions.

Step 2: If your computer is having problems accessing your collection of digital media files in the Windows Media Player Library, try using the Windows Media Player Library troubleshooter to fix the problem. The troubleshooter makes sure
Windows Media Player is correctly installed on your computer, and checks to see whether your Player Library is corrupted.

Steps to run Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter are as follows:

some proposed methods that you can follow to troubleshoot the concern.

Method 1: Troubleshooter

First, you may run the Microsoft Easy fix diagnostic tool for network to automatically detect and fix any incompatibilities with your device and driver. Here are some that may apply to you:

• Find and fix problems with devices and hardware
• Find and fix problems with connecting to the Internet or to websites
• Find and fix problems with wireless and other network adapters

Now, to run the manual network troubleshooter, please follow these steps:

• Go to Control Panel, on the Search Control Panel bar located on the upper-right corner of
  the Control Panel window, type Troubleshooting.
• Click Troubleshooting on the results pane.
• On the left pane, click View all.
• Look for Connecting to a Network, right-click, and have it Run as administrator.
• Follow the onscreen instructions.
• Once done, please check if issue still persists.
• Please repeat the steps, and then run troubleshooter for Network adapter.

Method 2: Update driver

It is suggested to update a device driver to resolve any incompatibility issues with the latest version of Windows 10.

• To Update a driver, please go to the Cortana search bar beside the Start button. Type devmgmt.msc. Hit Enter.
• ExpandNetwork adapters. Look for your adapter.
• Right-click, then select Properties.
• Navigate to Driver tab. then click
  Update driver.
• If options is grayed out, click Update driver instead.
• Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
• Follow the onscreen instructions.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
