Windows 10: Network not working as soon as opening an app

I really need help, my exams are within a month and I have to attempt my mock tests but I simply cant. My computer is very old around 10 years to 12 years and has windows 7 professional installed, amd athlon 7750 processor, I have my network adapter connected and driver installed on restarting comp, my internet connects and remains connected until I open or use anything that requires an internet connection like using chrome, as soon as I open chrome the network option goes with red cross over the signal type triangle in the bottom right of desktop and says " No connections are available" plea

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
