Windows 10: network permission issue

I have 5 PC in my office. I want to access each desktop from all the others and have been able to in the past.

Not sure why but now when I go to File Explorer and click on a network location I get the following error:

Windows cannot access BOBSDESK



No desktops use passwords. Have never had network credentials, pins or passwords on any desktop.

Have reset my ISP router and power cycled. Done a Network reset at all desktops.


Went to: Settings/Network&Internet/Network and Sharing Center/Change advanced sharing settings/Private

Turned on network discovery. Turned on file and printer sharing. Turned off password protected sharing.


Ironically I can still get to some areas on other desktops using the Quick Access feature if it has been linked previously.


How do I get around this issue. Any suggestions for what else to try?

1. May I know the exact error message?
   
2. Have you shared all hard drives or any particular folder within the particular hard drive?
   

Since you have mentioned that you are getting error related to permission issue, please refer to the troubleshooting steps provided by “Azee N” dated June 2nd 2010 on
Providing permission to drive and try
providing permission to the drive.

If the issue still persists, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to re-map the drive.

1. Disconnect the drive by right click on the drive and select disconnect (if the drive is mapped).
   
2. Then re-map the drive by referring to Map a network drive
   and check if it resolves the issue.

Permission issue

Presumably because TrustedInstaller is the owner (hence you need its permission), suggesting that img3.jpg was installed by Windows at some time.

Presumably that also means it can be uninstalled. How did you get it in the first place? Where is it located?

If you really want to delete it yourself, then taking ownership would seem a logical first step.

 

Permission to access network
