Windows 10: Network Printing in DOS Windows 3.11 to HP LaserJet M227fdn Network printer.

Hi,I have a windows 3.11 computer.I want to setup network printing to my HP LaserJet M227fdn network printer.both are on my home network and using TCP-IP DHCPI know how to add a printer port using windows NT 4.0 but I don't know about setting it up on Windows 3.11also what print driver can I use ?

Networked Printer: How to print both sides?

Strange. I've never heard of duplex problems over network. We have never had such an issue with Xerox or Kyoceras.

You say it is missing odd pages. Often, with duplex printing, due to paper flow and reversing, page (side) 2 prints first, then page (side) 1, then page 4 then page 3 on the second piece of paper, etc.

Watch the paper. Is it being "sucked" back into the printer for the second side? (If is uses this method)... but just not printing it?

If you start printing from page 2 onwards, will it print the odd pages and skip the even ones?

Are you 100% sure it is HP Color LaserJet CP4005dn printer (CB504A) and not the CB503A model that is without the duplex feature? (I ask this question in case you have more than one printer, and they do look identical). Is there some way that the driver was misinstalled on ONE of them: PC or server.

Are you in Windows on BOTH the PC and the server?

Try the Postscript driver.

 

Printer HP LaserJet 4100Series PCL6 cannot be contacted over the network

My new Dell Inspiron laptop will not recognize our network laser printer. (Printer HP LaserJet 4100Series PCL6)

The printer is up and running fine, and our 3 other computers in the home (2 laptops/1 desktop) are all printing to the network printer just fine.

Windows 10, 64bit

Error - Printing on Network printer

I cant get a screenie cause theyre on a network with no internet. But theyre HP 4650 laserjets. I know 9100 was enabled, not sure about the rest.
