Windows 10: Network problem after windows 10 fall creator update

My pc is going through a weird problem after the update. I have a personal hotspot device that I connect to to PC via USB tethering. It used to work fine but after this update it connects and opens websites like GOOGLE, FACEBOOK but fails to load other website. However all these website work fine on my devices connected to the same network. I checked the network adapter settings and IPV4 settings are checked and I clicked on configure and the on advanced and it seems my pc is unable to detectnetwork address. Please help

Ps. Trouble shoot says “local area connection doesn’t have valid ip confirguration”

I also lost my network connectivity after the Fall Creators Update. This update disabled or uninstalled several drivers - one of them was my Wi-Fi network adapter. The recently updated adapter was not compatible with the Fall Creators Update - I had to uninstall
it and re-install the original version from CD. That fixed my connectivity problem immediately.

• Are you encountering the same thing using other web applications?
• Aside from checking the network adapter settings, what other procedures have you done to resolve your concern?

It helps to know what you are using as a Hotspot (mfg and model, along withe cell carrier). Have you opened up Device Manager, shown hidden devices and removed that device and drivers? Possible that FCU removed the modem items needed. Also possible that a setting got changed on the device you are using or your provider has throttled you.

 

I’m using jiofi which is from an Indian brand JIO and the cell carrier is jio as well. I’ve reinstalled the entire windows just in hope to fix the problems. I’m still under my FUP limit. Everything works fine on my other devices.

 

For something like this, reinstalling your OSdoes not fix anything. See my first post to look for the device and remove it. Alao look on thr device to see if it has that computer in it and remove it.

We also need the mfg and model of the device that you are using. Your cell carrier did not make it, thry just sell them. Youtube comes in really handy for these problems, since every device and how the carrier allows them to be used is different.

 

When will Microsoft and the rest realise that these are OUR computers and not theirs? I just enabled windows update (since july) as I stupidly thought that Msoft would have ironed out all the bugs in the updates by now.......ha ha ha.....all my printers and network devices disappeared, which was enough to put yesterdays image (using Terabyte) back on drive C so I am back to July 2017! Of course it now all works beautifully again! Why could they not go back to the Windows 7 update procedure where you were asked if you wanted this or that?
Don't get me wrong, I love Msoft have done since Windows 3.0 and Dos 6 before that, but please if any Msofters are reading this, please ask before you screw up my computer again!

 

Then stop using the Operating System and software that Microsoft creates. There are no employees on this forum that are going to risk their job, by claiming that there is a problem when there is not. Stop trying to break the Operating System.

Could anyone tell me why Msoft have dumped three of the best programs they had? Visio, Money and Autoroute? Three of the main reasons I still use Windows.
