    I am hoping to find answers because this issue has been plaguing me for some time now. When I boot into windows, everything Network wise works appropriately, but after about a minute and a half, I get the world icon with the circle and diagonal line meaning "no", and it says that it is connected, but no internet. I am still able to browse the web and play online games, I am also able to ping ip addresses and websites in the command prompt. However, applications like outlook and Spotify, do not register an internet connection. After a while, eventually, the connection comes back but then goes in and out. I have updated my drivers, updated my BIOS on my mobo, Windows is up to date, and yet the problem persists. Please help.

    Not able to browse Internet in certain Wifi Networks

    I have a Windows 10 Home Single Language on my Dell G3 15 Laptop. The issue that I'm facing is with Internet browsing.

    In my home WiFi network, I'm able to browse internet. But when I try connect to my university network or mobile hotspot, I'm able to browse only in the initial few seconds (around 20 Seconds or less). After that the webpage does not load. The WiFi symbols
    shows connected.

    When I connect to my university network via LAN, I don't face any issue.

    Can anyone suggest any solution for this issue?

    Laptop won't show list of available networks

    We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

    Connected to router but cannot browse the web

    well, hopefully you don't run into further problems with your internet down the road. I used to work as tech support for at&t and the 1st thing we check when there's no internet connection but can ping a website is always the proxy server *Smile Network shows no internet but I am still able to browse the web :)

    basically troubleshooting steps are - check if network adapter is enabled > check if able to ping > and if no, then check proxy settings, hehehe...
