Network/Sound and Calendar buttons in the taskbar are unresponsive.

I feel like I've tried everything. Just those two buttons are not working. The rest of the taskbar works just fine. This seemed to start happening when I installed Equalizer APO.I have:Restarted Windows Explorer by using task manager.Done a Dism check of system in cmd and that said everything was normal. Sorry I'm not terribly tech savvy and don't remember the exact commandUninstalled Equalizer APO, and the install .exe file in my Downloads folder.Uninstalled and reinstalled audio drivers.Used CCleaner to fix registry items/clean junk etc...This is all from my memory. I should have wrot

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Taskbar Unresponsive.

    Dear Amma,

Sorry for the trouble, here are few steps that I would suggest:

    • Press the Windows + X
    • Open the Command Prompt (Admin)
    • Now type the command as " Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
    • Push Enter
    • Restart the system.
    • Now see if the issue persists
    • If it persists the only option is to create a new user admin account.

Do let me know if it helped and please mark the answer as helpful if it helped.

I appreciate the assistance, but the Windows key doesn't respond to my pressing.

Network/Sound and Calendar buttons in the taskbar are unresponsive.

VOLUME and NETWORK buttons in taskbar do nothing when clicked

I had the same problem with my Volume icon at system tray. The following tutorial will fix it.

Enable or Disable System Icons on Taskbar in Windows 10

    Use Option One :
Start with step #3 and 4 > click the Download buttons > continue to step #7 through 11.
Restart computer afterwards, just to make sure.
