  2. N95 GPS/network positioning

The Nokia maps application will by default list your last known GPS position. It is designed to do this so it can get a faster lock if you are close to the same position that it last recorded as it "reuses" some of the GPS data it last recorded so there is
    nothing wrong there.

The network positioning feature "shouldn't" work in the UK as the operators do not allow free access to this information...yet it does! :O To re-enable it, do the following...

    1. Go to Tools > Settings General > Positioning

    2. Go into "Positioning methods".

    3. You will see three options. "Bluetooth GPS", "Integrated GPS" and "Network based".

    4. To reinstate network based positioning, remove the tick from "Integrated GPS" so only "Network based" is ticked. That will disable the GPS receiver.

    5. Go back into maps and choose no when it asks you to enable GPS.

That should get network based positioning back up and running for you. If nothing seems to have changed do a reboot.

Remember that if at any time you activate the GPS transmitter, it will effectively disable network based positioning as you cannot use both at the same time as the phone will get conflicting positioning data. Therefore to revert back to network based positioning
you need to repeat these steps.

  3. W10 taskbar icons too small

I would agree that the Windows 10 taskbar buttons/icons are too small, much smaller than Win 7 or 8. The response below suggests going into the taskbar Properties and unchecking 'use small taskbar buttons', but I have had this unchecked the whole time,
and the taskbar buttons are still too small, annoyingly so.
