Windows 10: Networking problems on a fresh windows 10 install

Hello, i just bought a new laptopt with Windows 10 Pro, it is brand new there is no anti virus program other than Windows Defender.

I'm having a lot of issues on the internet. I wanted to start by installing Norton, but I found the "Can't reach this page" error on Edge while trying to access norton's website. I then tried on Chrome and i'm getting the error "ERR_SSL_BAD_RECORD_MAC_ALERT". Sometimes i get to access norton's landing page but ultimately i always end on these errors when trying to log in.

I'm having this error on some othe more pages as well, I just used Norton as an example. I could access Microsoft's website for example, but no way to log into my account. I'm currently on my old laptop. "There was an issue looking up for your account".


I then tried to install 1password & Dropbox, each time Edge gave me the Smart screen error whhile trying to install the files. It still went through, but something is preventing me from logging into my account on Dropbox.

On the other hand i successfuly logged into my google email account.


Windows is also trying to install updates/programs automatically but fails "Something happened, and we couldn't install a feature "



I have been trying all day to fix it with no success, here is what I tried so far:


- Troubleshooting network updaters

- Uninstalling all network drivers

- Reseting TCP/IP with command prompt

- Turning off app & browser control and the firewall on windows defender.

- Reseting the computer and reinstalling windows 10

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
