yup and again, network issues. been having this problem for years, never figured it out. usually i can open network, click on my computer and go to it but remember we have a very dynamic operating system that likes to mod and change itself frequently disregarding user settings and customization, because well you know that is what makes windows great, so anyways i open network, click on the computer and this time, after being been able to hundreds of times now i have a login in screen. WHAT DO I PUT HERE? logic tells me to input the user name and password on the computer i am trying to connect to, but does it ever work? if i am literally typing the correct name and pass, then why it says no? and that another thing, why did microsoft choose to make user profiles and names so complicated? It does not work. I literally go to the computer i am trying to connect to and view the name on the sign in page, type it in, then i type the password to login, and i use that password on the remote computer and it says invalid. Why? i have one username in my users folder, but that name i do not use to login, i use my live id, okay going to the computer to remote over, and that does not work, my user name and my live id will not now work to connect to this computer after i have been able to for some time. And thats another thing, all 4 of my pc's are connected to my live id, same sign in picture and i change my desktop, all 4 backgrounds change. however 3 out of the 4 use the same pass and i am using an old pass to sign to the fourth, also yeah i mentioned i can change the background and they all sync, but it takes a week to do so, literally. I change my background on one, a week later the changes take affect on other computers.

    :)

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

  3. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    • Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    • Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    • Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    • Select add someone else on this PC.
    • Enter a user name and hit next.
    • Click on Finish.
    • Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

I'll be adding a small page on doing this in windows vista soon, since XP is the same with a step or two less, i assume people will figure it out.
