    i have been stuck in a never ending loop for a very long time. i cant login using my password and havent been able to do so for at least a year. i use my notification on my phone to approve a login. but i have reset my password over and over and it just keeps telling me my sign in is blocked. I cannot get anyone on the phone at microsoft, i cant get a person on online chat. i am very frustrated. please help

    Lost password on an Old Account, any way to merge accounts?

    Site was pwnd not so long ago resulting in a general member password reset
    so unless you reset your password since then your old account password wont work.
    Try contacting one of the admins to see if they can help you out

    Thanks for the reply, but it does not help me. The website does not proceed past step 4. After entering the security code, the website does not proceed to step 5. It does not give an error message, it simply greys out the next and cancel buttons and hangs
    indefinitely.

    Reset your password

    • If you've added security info to your account, we'll send a one-time code to the alternate phone number or email address you gave us. After you enter that code on the next screen, you'll be able to make a new password.
    I'll try your "Get account help by email" suggestion and post the solution here when I've found one.
