New hard drive not showing in BIOS or Disk management

Thank you for the update. There are a few things that we would like to clarify for us to be able to provide you the correct troubleshooting or refer you to the right channel in getting this addressed. Are you trying to use the new hard drive as a replacement
for the old one or is it an additional hard drive on top of the one that you currently have? If the new hard drive is not showing up on both
BIOS/UEFI and Disk Management, then there must be something that is getting in the way on how it was set up. In this case, we recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your hard drive or your motherboard to check what
further troubleshooting can still be done on its setup and get it detected.

Feel free to reach out to us for further concerns.

I would suggest you to plug in hard drive then check in disk management you can see the drive or not.

Follow the steps to check Drive in Disk Management.

    • Go to the Control Panel then click on the
      Administrative Tools. .

    • Under the Administrative Tool Click on Computer Management.

    • Click on Disk Management and check the External Hard Drive.

Also check in BIOS whether External Hard Drive is listed or not.
