Windows 10: New AAC codec tested with AirPods Pro

Discus and support New AAC codec tested with AirPods Pro in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Im on the latest preview build since i wanted to test the new AAC Codec.     New AAC codec tested with AirPods Pro


    Im on the latest preview build since i wanted to test the new AAC Codec. Im using a USB Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter.

    48000Hz are available now. (44100Hz on stable build) but still 16 Bit.

    The max volume was reduced, i had them on 80-85% to get a concert feeling, now its on 100% and feels like 80%.

    Sound/ latency is great, might be placebo, but i think sound was improved a bit listening to MP3s. Details like clapping/ drum snare are great.

    Using the AirPods as a headset is still shit. Turning on the mic switches their quality to same quality it was before the update.

    AAC Bluetooth codec on Surface Book 2

    Does Windows 10 and the Surface Book 2 hardware support the AAC Bluetooth codec?

    I do notice a rather big difference in sound quality when changing between an iPhone (that do support AAC) and the Surface Book 2.

    New AAC codec tested with AirPods Pro

    AirPods Pro can't synchronize on Win 10

    Seems to be a different problem, they paired before and suddenly can't get paired again, mine is about list on ratio devices, but unable to access it, I set AirPods in pairing mode, enable Bluetooth on Windows 10, search devices in ratio and select AirPods Pro, but they don't synchronize, just never respond.
