Windows 10: New app needs password to log into computer

Hello,I recently installed a VPN app Global Protect and after configuration it I need to type a password everytime i turn on my computer. Before installing i Had a PIN password for my computer and now I have two options of logging in. Can I recieve some help to delete that one option?The lock screen just shows two options of logging in.I tried changing it in settings but I didn't see any options regarding the issue. I can't change or delete the Pin now either.

New computer requiring password?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

Once logged in, press Ctrl + Alt + Del and click "change a password".

- Leave the "current password" box empty.

- Enter the new/preferred password and save the changes.

If you are able to set the password, log in using that password and press Windows key + R.

- Type netplwiz and press enter.

- Check "users must enter a username and password to use this computer" and save the changes.

- Save the changes.

How can I create a new app password

To create a new app password,
this page says:

• Go to the
  Security basics page and sign in to your Microsoft account.
• Select More security options.
• Under App passwords, select Create a new app password. A new app password is generated and appears on your screen.

But I have found no 'App passwords' option/button in that page. Please help — how can I do this?

 

Can't change password to log in windows or add pin

change your password via https://account.microsoft.com/. Here's how:

• Log in your account via
  https://account.microsoft.com/.
• Go to the Security tab.
• Click on CHANGE PASSWORD.
• Change your password.
• Select Save.

Once done, log in your account to your device using the new password. Please post back with the result for further assistance.
