    New Asus ProArt Display

Just bought myself a new monitor for my desktop computer that I use in my basement. Had previously been using an old Acer X223H which was getting long in the tooth. Heck, it had DVI and VGA inputs, no HDMI or Display Port.

I use my computer mostly for productivity type work. I game, but only rarely. So, I always stick with an IPS display rather than a TN panel as I want better color reproduction. My go to monitors have always been the Dell Ultrasharps. In my upstairs office for work, I use a Dell UltraSharp U2518d.

For my downstairs desktop, I took a chance and purchased the ASUS ProArt Display PA278QV 27 WQHD

This thing is fantastic. First off, I got it for about $275 from Amazon. It's a 27" display, at 2560x1440. Color accuracy is fantastic. Brightness out of the box seems great. I'm still going back and forth between Standard or sRGB. It tilts, pivots and has height adjustment.

So, if anybody is looking for a nice sub $300 monitor and gaming isn't your top priority, be sure to give this monitor a look.

    :)
