    New build - will my old cooler (Hyper 212 Evo) work with i5-10600K?


    The title says it: after 8 years, time to build a new machine.

    Have i5-10600K ordered, ASUS Rog Strix Z490-A delivered, but suddenly realized I didn't think about the cooler. Right now I'm using the Hyper 212 Evo, but I read it won't cut it for the 125W processor I ordered. The internet suggests Noctua D15, but I'm not sure I have to drop that much money or do I?

    Does anyone use i5-10600K? What do you use for a cooler? I'm not planning to overclock, will run at the stock 4.1.

    Im planing to buy it because ive heard like tons of people suggesting it, im planing to run
    my i5 4690K @ 3.9 GHz, or 4.0Ghz..

    Is it a good cooler *Smile New build - will my old cooler (Hyper 212 Evo) work with i5-10600K? :) ?

    I would also like to know the temps that the people that has the CM Hyper 212 Evo have (with this cpu) *Smile New build - will my old cooler (Hyper 212 Evo) work with i5-10600K? :)

    I have the older model Hyper 212 Plus on my I5-760 system and works like a charm. The EVO version is a upgraded version of the older Plus model. Great cooler for the Money. You can see the difference of the two.

    IDK, for the price the 212 EVO seems like the best cooler.

    I was running at just over 55c with an i5-4440 at 1.08v/3.3GHz in P95
