This computer is a new build. All components are brand new. After the hardware was installed, I installed the Win 11 operating system. Then I used Laplink PC mover to migrate the old Win 10 computer software to the new win 11 machine. From what I could see, the move completed correctly. I configured the sleep settings for 10 min.     Windows 11 Not Going to Sleep

    Using Windows 11 Pro. Unit is not going to sleep, despite trying variations on power options. Have followed all the steps here: Fix Windows 11 Sleep Mode Not Working . Also, this article refers to a Power Troubleshooter...which doesn't exist on my version of Windows. On the other hand, if I reset power options to the default, the unit does go to sleep.     Yep, with appreciation to our friend who offers the troubleshooting steps, standard troubleshooting logic also suggests that if something is working and then the only change is updating to the next Windows build -- then it's probably the Windows build
    with the problem.

    I reverted my build yesterday, after Dona announced that there would be no new build until next week at the earliest -- and as predicted my sleep issues disappeared!

    Computer stopped going into sleep mode

    Hello, Kiran.

    My computer is up to date and I didn't change any settings prior or after the update

    I tried step one, but I haven't wait the time required for the computer to go into sleep mode. I did change the 30 minute wait to 10 minutes. So, I'll wait and see what happens
