New built pc having major mulfunctions.

    Hi all !

So my rig have the fillowing specs :

    Cpu: i7 7700k

    Motherboard: Msi b250m bazooka

Ram: 16x2 go team group kit total of 32go

    Gpu: EVGA gtx 1070 ftw

Psu : i can't tell wich brand since i'm not the one who built it and there's no brand name on it but it's 80+white 550watt.

    OS: windows 10 64bit pro

I mainly use this pc for 2d design with Adobe illustrator and photoshop and printing jobs had no problem with it for a couple of moths until it started slowing down back then i used to have a Inter-tech Energon 550watt pluged in ..every time i try to apply some heavy effects on my .ai file the whole system would freeze so is any printing job the bigger the file the slower is his response ...

I did some windows clean install after having many win32kfull.sys errors and nothing changed , right now my pc have these symptoms add to the win32kfull.sys error :

-DVD reader keeps ejecting media .

Windows 10 explorer takes too long to read any folder content .

    -Pc keeps going offline.

    Ps:

I changed a few pieces of hardware bought a new PNY 240go ssd , two sticks of ram 16x2.

Some folks said my older PSU is so cheap it might have damaged my motherboard is that possible ?

    :)

Settings can't be opened using the built-in administrator account

    Hello,
Unfortunately I have the same issue as Dabz from upgrading win7 to win10.
I've tried opening settings using all the suggested methods and it will not load using my account with Administrator access nor the built-in Administrator profile. I also tried other methods not listed such as using Run. Control panel is just a stepping stone to add users in Settings.
I'm also having explorer.exe issues, which I believe is preventing Settings from loading.
Using cmd (Admin) I successfully created a new user profile [and granted admin access also using cmd (Admin)], however win10 will not allow this account to log on. win10 does not list this new user within control panel but it does in the start menu. win10 will not allow to log in or switch to the new account via the start menu either.
I can access settings in Safe Mode but this will not allow me to create a new account.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

New PC Built, Overclocking help please

That thought had crossed my mind, the Asetek LCLC (low cost liquid cooler) isnt that good by all accounts but my pc is very quiet and i like that.

I have done a tidy'ish job with the cables and theres plenty of ambient air in the case.

If a case upgrade is required, what do you suggest. £100 max

    PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
