Windows 10: New Challenges with Windows

I appreciate all the help received last week....


Last week I posted that I had lost access to my laptop and could not boot due to a lost file in the boot sequence. That problem has been corrected 90 to 95%.


What seems to continue to be challenged is the following, I am not sure this is just one problem or it is multiple issues.


When I got back into my laptop and opened my browsers I learned that I had lost all my saved browser settings, I had to reload the browsers. I use several browsers one for personal several for work being a freelancer I have several jobs. Anyway. all browsers lost all saved tabs email accounts, and social media accounts, personal accounts etc etc.


I have lost the File Explore Icon and access and it is only accessible through the Task Manager.


In addition on my desktop, the taskbar on the bottom of the desktop where I keep my commonly used programs MS OFFICE, Browsers, Netflix, email, and various other tabs was all gone.


I tried to reload the tabs to the desktop but they don't repopulate after rebooting and only 3 tabs return MS Edge, MS Store, and Mail. in addition the search box on the taskbar is inoperative. I can not type any search requests. Nothing is able to type at all in the search box. The smaller icons on the end are also missing most previously contained icons dropbox etc etc.


When I try to reset the taskbar with Windows settings the settings box opens and I select the "Systems" options / "Display" I can navigate around "Display" for 10 to 15 seconds than settings just close.


I can not open any documents I stored in "One Drive" or on the desktop I am given an error message as follows:

Sorry, we couldn't find your file. Was it moved, renamed, or deleted?

C:\Windows\...\FILE NAME.docx


MS WORD All Office Programs when opening requires I accept the MS license agreement again every time I open the program in addition I have no history from any program there is no file directory nor are there any files available from open document option. I can open existing doc files from my laptop.


I can not upload photos.


I imagine there are many other functions I have yet to attempt that is also not working.


I appreciate any insights and assistance in restoring or resolving my laptop.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
