    New Cloned Hard Drive - Windows 11 Now Not Activated


    I recently purchased a refurbished Dell Optiplex 3040 PC from NewEgg that came preinstalled with Windows 11 Pro version 21H2. After reading several reviews about possible SSD failure with the King SSD 360gb, I cloned it to a brand new Crucial SSD 480gb. The OS clone works but now I have a watermark that says Windows is not activated and I cannot activate online. I have the complete Product Key from the Registry and it shows the last 5 characters on the System Information page. The install date shown is also from the day I first powered on the PC.The error message in System Information is 'We c

    Cloning from 1TB to 2TB hard drive

    Whats a good free imaging/cloning program? I have a 1TB hard drive with Win7 and I want to seamlessly migrate my stuff to a 2TB hard drive. Any suggestions?

    I am old, having a heck of a time partitioning, formatting and new hard drive for cloning. Windows 10 build 19042

    So Acronis makes an image of your drive, even those hidden partitions used to install or activate windows automatically, and then writes the image to the new hard drive? Because I don't want to end up with a copy of my windows os that isn't activated.
