Windows 10: New Computer Build, Fresh Win 10 install, no network or internet access

Hello. New build. Asus B360M-A MB. Install, reinstall of Win 10 Pro. No apps are installed Runs fine, but cannot connect to the network. NIC does not receive an IP via DHCP. If I enter a static address, doesn't help, fix issue. Can ping loopback. I've tried all the netsh commands. I've updated the drivers of the NIC. I've run a Linux live DVD to check hardware functionality. With the Live DVD I can connect to network and internet. So the hardware works. When I plug a USB wireless adaptor into the computer, I cannot see wireless networks, just the direct connects offered by printers. Why in the world can't I get past this? Thanks in advance.

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
   
   
   

 

Win 7 and Win 10 on network

I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

Any suggestions for a fix?

 

Fresh Install of Win 10 without Serial Key?

Looking to reformat a laptops HDD, and then reinstall Win 10 fresh. The problem is it came pre-installed with Win 8 and I did the free upgrade to Win 10. How exactly would I re-format the HDD, reinstall Win 10 and ensure it reactivates properly? I don't see a Win 8 serial key anywhere in the contents of the box.
